Tell us a bit about yourself and what you're up to now
My background is in sales, with hands-on experience in data analytics. I’ve sold products (with a consultative angle) across both ResTech and MarTech, and I try to stay curious, resilient, and data-driven.
Lately, I’ve become super interested in the biotech and health tech space, particularly innovations that focus on women’s health. I’m a fast learner and love trying out new tools that make work more efficient. I really value clarity, honesty, and keeping things positive.
Outside of work, I love reading and cooking! I also enjoy the theatre, or wandering around an art exhibition. And like any self-respecting Greek, I thrive in a good political debate. 🙂
What was your journey into a career in Tech Sales
Hands on analytics for lean teams with small budgets. It was an natural step to move into selling as I had the data background and supported for years Sales/New buss teams in their negotiations. My first role I was an AM for Warner music for streaming services moving an internal analysts role.
What would you say are the best things about working in Tech Sales
What I love about working in tech is how fast-moving and full of possibility it can be. Coming from analytics, I’ve found my skills, like problem-solving, active listening, and making complex things simple, translate really well.
There’s loads of room to grow, and I’m especially drawn to areas like healthtech and femtech, where there’s real potential to make a difference. Tech keeps me curious, learning, and always looking for smarter ways to work.
What advice would you give to someone who is just about to start their career in sales
Don’t box yourself into one role, sales, CS, ops, product... it’s all connected. Get curious, collaborate across teams, and learn how the whole business runs. Find internal champions and mentors early, they’ll support you and give you honest feedback.
Bring solutions, not just problems. Be proactive, ask good questions, and don’t be afraid to test new approaches. Tech moves fast, so stay flexible and keep learning. And most importantly, build genuine relationships. I have made friends for life and thats what makes it rewarding and fun.
Why did you decide to join Tangent as a Mentor and why should others join as Mentors too
I honestly believe I learn just as much from my mentees as they (hopefully) learn from me. Mentorship, for me, is an equal partnership. It’s about listening, encouraging, and helping someone grow without expecting anything in return. That’s also what good sales is about, helping.
In tech I felt (and still feel) my voice sidelined, especially by white males. That bothers me. And I know it’s even harder for others who haven’t had the opportunities I’ve had. If I can help someone navigate the system a bit more easily, everyone wins.
Others should join too, because it’s meaningful, impactful, and honestly, a great reminder of why we do what you do. It’s collaboration in its most earnest form.
