Tell us a bit about yourself and what you're up to now
My journey into sales didn’t start in a corporate office but it began behind the counter of a trading card and comics shop I opened with my father when I was sixteen.
By the age of 22, I had launched a second shop with a business partner, turning a passion for games and pop culture into a crash course in customer service, B2C/B2B dynamics, pricing, negotiation, and market timing before I even knew those terms existed.
Since then, I’ve sold across industries and business models, from fast-scaling startups like Revolut (Fintech), ViSenze (AI for Visual Commerce), and Reveal (Partnership SaaS), to international projects like Monopoly (Entertainment & Licensing), where I collaborated with top-tier football clubs, luxury hotels, and cultural and governmental institutions across Europe.
Each experience has sharpened my ability to understand what moves people whether customers, partners, or internal team and how to build trust in complex, high-stakes environments.
What ties it all together is curiosity. I’m endlessly interested in the “why” behind decisions: how businesses grow, how people buy, and how we can align commercial goals with real human connection and value.
Today, I combine my sales experience with coaching principles to support professionals in navigating growth, transitions, and performance from a more conscious place.
What was your journey into a career in Tech Sales
After the pandemic hit, I decided to fully dive into the digital space. I had just stepped down from my role as Sales Manager for Monopoly and I knew it was time to explore something new with more scalability and innovation.
That’s when I made the shift to tech. I landed my first role in the industry thanks to the trust of a founder (ex-Google, Tag Commander, and Algolia) who brought me on board at a small startup. That opportunity marked the beginning of a completely new chapter where I could apply my commercial mindset in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
What would you say are the best things about working in Tech Sales
One of the best things about working in Tech Sales is how much it stretches both your strategic thinking and emotional intelligence.
The transferable skills are countless: active listening, negotiation, resilience, storytelling, data analysis. These aren’t just “sales” skills, they’re life and leadership skills.
There’s also the earning potential and career progression. Tech sales rewards performance in a very tangible way, which gives you financial upside while also building a career path that can lead to roles in strategy, product, customer success, partnerships, or even founding your own venture.
For me personally, tech sales helped me become more self-aware, more structured, and more curious about how businesses really grow. It also inspired me to start writing and helping others not just sell more, but grow better.
What advice would you give to someone who is just about to start their career in sales
As for standing out in applications what really makes the difference is clarity. Take time to reflect on:
What kind of company you'd like to work for (size, industry, culture)
Why you're choosing tech sales
What transferable skills you bring from past roles
