Tell us a bit about yourself and what you're up to now
What was your journey into a career in Tech Sales
It wasn’t easy, I didn’t have any sales or tech background when I got started.
It happened through a mix of resilience, a bit of luck, and the people I crossed paths with.
I learned as I went, mostly by doing, listening & picking up whatever I could from everyone around me

What would you say are the best things about working in Tech Sales
The constant growth. The extraordinary people you meet, the impact you can have, the things you get to learn.
Tech sales is always evolving- you constantly need to learn, adapt, and experiment to keep performing.
It pushes you out of your comfort zone. It’s never boring, never the same, never static
What advice would you give to someone who is just about to start their career in sales
Never (ever) give up. Keep showing up. Stay curious. Don’t take rejection personally, it’s part of the job. Embrace it, because every no gets you closer to a yes
Why did you decide to join Tangent as a Mentor and why should others join as Mentors too
I didn’t come from a sales background, no degree, no fancy network. I had to figure it out starting from scratch, and I am grateful for the help and coaching I got from people I met along the way. Now that I have built a career in sales, I want to help others do the same. Particularly those who feel like they don’t tick the "right" boxes but have the drive to make it.
Mentoring someone costs little but can mean everything to the person on the other side. It's time to give back
