Tell us a bit about yourself and what you're up to now

I'm a Customer Success professional with a passion for enablement, professional development, and winning as a team.

As an inaugural ECSM at Fonoa, I'm working on building out functional processes to ensure the team has what we need to provide our customers with a best-in-class experience.

I'm happiest when I'm under a heated blanket with a book, an espresso, and my cat, Fiona :)

What was your journey into a career in Tech Sales

I majored in marketing in college and started my career as a Sales and Marketing Specialist for a SaaS company. As I grew into that role, I realized that the aspects of my job I enjoyed most were the ones where I got to interact with customers. Understanding that helped me pivot into customer success roles that aligned with my skillset and what I enjoyed doing in my day-to-day.

What would you say are the best things about working in Tech Sales

There are so many different paths to explore. The tech world allows you to be in charge of your career - whichever avenue you want to go down, you can make it happen through hard work and creative problem solving. The nature of tech is ever-evolving which means there are always opportunities to learn and grow, musts for me as a self-proclaimed lifelong learner.

What advice would you give to someone who is just about to start their career in sales

You are in this room for a reason! Be confident in the unique skillset that you bring to the table. And never be afraid to ask too many questions - a curious mind and a listening ear will help you go far.

Why did you decide to join Tangent as a Mentor and why should others join as Mentors too

No one achieves anything alone. The mentors I have encountered in my journey have helped an immeasurable amount and I'm incredibly grateful for their support. I want to pay that forward in any way I can and highlight the power of community.
