Tell us a bit about yourself and what you're up to now

I’m a BDR, often the first voice prospective customers hear from our company. My role is to connect developers and clients by translating technical features into clear value that aligns with customer needs. Outside of work, I stay active by playing tennis and love exploring new cultures while traveling across Europe.

What was your journey into a career in Tech Sales

I’ve been surrounded by tech since I was about 2 years old, which gave me a lifelong familiarity with Computers&Web: exploring hardware, experimenting with setups, and even building simple software. That early curiosity naturally evolved into a deeper interest and made the career in tech feel like a natural step rather than a leap.

What would you say are the best things about working in Tech Sales

One of the best things about working in tech is being surrounded by some of the brightest and most motivated people, which creates an environment that’s both inspiring and challenging.

The Internet continues to shape the way we live and work, so being at the forefront of that transformation is definitely a plus.

On top of that, the industry offers exponential opportunities for career development and strong earning potential, making it both exciting and rewarding.

What advice would you give to someone who is just about to start their career in sales

If you’re just starting out in sales, the first step is to deeply understand your customer. Figure out what they want to achieve and how your product fits into that picture. Is it a “painkiller” that solves an urgent problem, or more of a “vitamin” that adds extra value?

By knowing both the type of product you represent and the goals of your ideal customer, you’ll be able to clearly see and communicate the value you bring to them.

Why did you decide to join Tangent as a Mentor and why should others join as Mentors too

I know how challenging it is to break into Tech, and I’ve also seen how difficult it is sometimes to find the right people for the team. I joined Tangent as a Mentor to gain visibility into the process, learn from both sides, and share advice with those starting their careers. It also gives me the chance to support my own team by making strong referrals.

As for why others should join, I believe we all owe our careers to someone who offered guidance or opened a door. Tangent is a great place to give back to the community and help the next generation succeed.
