Tell us a bit about yourself and what you're up to now

I currently work at ADEC Innovations, where I help fast-growing tech companies and global brands elevate their digital and customer experience. My focus is on building scalable, high-impact CX solutions that not only meet today’s customer expectations but also anticipate tomorrow’s.

With a background spanning customer success, business development, and consulting, I’ve always been drawn to roles where I can solve complex problems and help businesses grow through better customer engagement. I’m especially passionate about working with brands that are scaling quickly and need to build CX strategies that can keep pace with their growth.

What was your journey into a career in Tech Sales

I actually started my career in the military and fell into sales accidently. The BPO world has opened up doors for me that I couldn't have imagined - building sales and CX solutions, for brands having first won the right to partner with them and then becoming a trusted advisor as they scale

What would you say are the best things about working in Tech Sales

The opportunities to expand your network, I always say in sales your network is your strength. The challenge...I thrive on it. You celebrate the wins and learn from the losses - being in sales has given me and my family opportunities i didn't think were possible.

What advice would you give to someone who is just about to start their career in sales

Be granular in your thinking when it comes to industries, choose an industry that excites you. Don't choose "sales" as a broad option, choose SaaS or FinTech or Hardware. If you enjoy sales and want to turn it into a career....network....network...and network some more.

Two bits of advice that I've gotten have stuck with me throughout my career.. "if you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room....and lastly, "if you're dreams don't scare you, you're not dreaming big enough"

Why did you decide to join Tangent as a Mentor and why should others join as Mentors too

I know what it's like to be overlooked, and down through the years I have had an eye for spotting potential in people and I think Tangent multiplies that for people who may be in a similar position as I was.
