Tell us a bit about yourself and what you're up to now
Hi, I’m Tiziana! I’m originally from Austria and now based in London, where I lead the DACH Customer Success team at Miro. My background spans Customer Success, Implementation, and Strategy roles in fast-growing tech scaleups, mostly focused on helping global organisations drive innovation and change.
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me planning my next city break, trying out new restaurants or heading to spin class.
I’m a big believer in non-linear career paths, and I’ve learned time and time again how powerful the right conversation can be. That’s why I mentor.
What was your journey into a career in Tech Sales
I actually started my career from a creative background before pivoting into tech. My early roles in implementation gave me hands-on experience with platform rollouts, data integration, and enterprise onboarding, building a strong technical foundation and deep understanding of customer ecosystems.
Over time, I moved into Customer Success to gain a broader view of the post-sales journey and collaborate more closely with cross-functional teams. I’ve stayed open to exploring different industries like cybersecurity, martech, and now visual collaboration, which has helped me grow a versatile and adaptable skill set.
Now as a CS leader, I’m especially passionate about building high-performing, values-driven teams and enabling others to succeed. I’ve learned that leadership is not just about driving results, it’s about building confidence, creating clarity, and helping people do their best work.
What would you say are the best things about working in Tech Sales
What I love most about working in tech is how flexible the career paths can be. Starting in a customer-facing role can open up so many doors, whether you want to move into product, solutions, sales or customer success. You’re constantly learning skills that transfer across teams and roles.
And then there’s the people. Tech attracts curious, collaborative, and ambitious minds and being surrounded by that kind of energy is one of the best parts of the job.
What advice would you give to someone who is just about to start their career in sales
Don’t rush to have it all figured out. The best thing you can do early on is stay curious, ask smart questions, and pay attention to what energises you. Sales and CS aren’t just about targets, they’re about people, momentum, and learning how to create value. If you focus on doing that well, the rest tends to follow.
